In accordance to some well positioned source in Russian MOD newest Russian Frigates of project 22350 could be equipped with the French cannon Creusot-Loire Compact or Italian OTO-Melara 127/64LW. Apart from that the possibility of the installation of the foreign diesels and diesel generators together with ventilation and AC systems is also being considered.

Source: Commander of the Navy proposed to equip the frigates to foreign arms

According to him, an indication that consideration of this possibility gave during a working visit at the Severnaya Verf February 4, 2011 Commander of the Russian Navy Admiral Vladimir Vysotsky, transfers Flotprom .
We are talking about replacing the 130-millimeter artillery installation of A-192, which is currently regarded as the principal artillery weapons aboard Project 22350, the foreign AU. As candidates for the replacement of the Commander in Chief have been proposed 100-millimeter AU French Creusot-Loire Compact and 127-millimeter AU Italian OTO-Melara 127/64LW.

Mast lightweight 130-millimeter AU A-192M "Armat" (designer - FGUP KB "Arsenal", the producer - OAO MZ "Arsenal") is currently at the stage of prototype castings. All work on testing and fine-tuning designs go to the schedule agreed upon earlier with the Russian Navy, and should be completed in 2012. On all major indicators the unit is at the level of world analogues and on a range of performance does not yield to them.

In addition to the installation being built for the Russian Navy ships of foreign artillery commander in chief proposed to consider the options of using other systems and equipment of foreign manufacturers. In particular, diesel engines and diesel generators, and HVAC systems.
