In a surprising move, one of India’s premier English news channels, NDTV, has decided to shift their studios to the Finance Minister’s office in South Block.

Speaking on this move, CEO Vikram Chandra said, “Our Finance Minister seems to love talking to Barkha. Hell! He’s frequenting our channel so often that we’re planning to make ‘Interview of Arun Jaitley’ a daily show. Whether it is black money, a bad electoral result or any other controversy, our FM is in our studio to clarify his position. Hence, in order to save time and petrol, we’ve decided to shift our studios to his office”

Elucidating further, Dr. Prannoy Roy said, “As we all know, our Finance Minister is not a physically fit person. Considering this, I proposed that we merge his office and our studios instead of the other way round. He gladly agreed. We are planning to interview him for the next three days over BJP’s debacle in the Delhi polls. Knowing the loose cannons in the BJP and the party’s ability to make a perfectly sound fact into a controversy, we’re hoping that we’ll be able to get our interview topics for next week. After that’s done, we’ll interview him about the budget. This way, we can keep interviewing him till he gets bored.”

Clarifying on their move, Barkha Dutt tweeted that they would pay rent for using the FM’s office, just like they paid rent for using the Rashtrapati Bhavan. However, when ‘Internet Hindus’ went Yogendra Yadav-esque and asked for raw data about the rent, she promptly blocked them.

Sources say that India Today’s star editor of a higher tribe, Rajdeep Sardesai, too had requested a similar arrangement, to write another book. He allegedly said that he wanted to the FM to release another book authored by him which mocked the Prime Minister’s voters.

Meanwhile, ‘Internet Hindus’ were found trending ‘#JaitleyHataoBJPBachao’ on Twitter.

Man, put the unreal times caption in the thread title, I thought this was for real.

No clue why Modi trusts the FM, hope its not too late if and when a course change occurs.

bjp itself paying part of the money. U can see many nda govt advts more to ndtv than other channel.

Also they do go begging for money in the name of help to poor and animals. Eg. Save tiger, clean India, road safety, etc.

Also their part time job is money laundering.

    Was it Doval's letter?
    I'm not sure.
I think it was Parrikar's letter to NSA.

On October 15, Doval wrote a letter to Seth that NDTV had aired a story that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was shown images of INS Arihant at an award ceremony organised by DRDO. “It is notable that the information televised by the media on Arihant submarine is a classified information.
