    Not really understanding the motive behind the incursions here as there is no disputed territory between myanmar and india as far as my memory goes.

    Maybe a hidden chinese hand....... though it seems unlikely after the myanmarese bombing of chinese civillians. Maybe it is just an accident since there are no clear demarcations defining the border.

    Yeah but when we start to fence the bordering countries start to protest as in the case with bangladesh and pakistan landing us to a messy diplomatic standoff.

    Apparently they are accusing us of trying to box them in and trying to restrain their sovereignty :rofl: Looks like a country cant protect its own interests in todays world without sum1 objecting to it :sad:

    Plus the govt. would not want to build a fence as it could complicate relations with a country where we are competing for influence

    As i stated above , it could be a simple misunderstanding as the border is not clearly demarcated.

    It doesn't matter, even US has a proper demarcation with Canada spanning 1000 of kilometers. Its so that mistakes like this doesn't happen resulting in confusion and maybe bitterness. It also makes it easier for the soldiers to patrol the borders, plus a huge boost to steel industry:thumb:

    But seizing a saw mill and asking locals not to develop in the area...... if they were in an indian village they should have been informed so by the locals(speculation) so why continue to remain in the area ??

    The areas are terrorist infested both to Indian and Myanmar, These terrorist organization are funded by many religious / Political organizations / Figures in the local area, And they are active both in Myanmar and Northeast India, Some of the organization enjoying their ceasefire and media umbrella with us but raging terror from our land to theirs.

    There are local which are sympathetic to these organization and some of them have their own facilities to produce firearms, Indian Army share many Intel with other party here regarding terrorist location,Their is little doubt in my mind that mill was producing there ..

    ========

    The meeting will be held, Both Armies will share more information and Intel so that how India can do more action passively ..

    and reportedly these tribals in NE India exactly the same cross-border ethnic groups like Naga = Wa in Myanmar and others perhaps Bodo = Kachin (Jingpo).
