Now that I have read who has said this, I have realised that the Sufis are going nuts (even on the Haji Ali case).

Most of the Muslims are merely wanting to get along with life. If someone, who shows the light, no one cares even if they have genuine grievances in their heart.

They are not stupid. They know that you cannot bring back the past like you cannot bring alive those who perished in the Partition, which was a more horrifying blood bath.

One just moves on, with a grieving heart and hoping that it does not happen again.

It is absolutely silly to feel that Muslims India wide will become terrorists.

The clergy does agitate so that they can keep their power over their flock with meaningless and yet explosive rhetoric!

I think some are finding it fashionable to pass extremist statements and in fact become an extremist. It is really silly of such people to pass such statements. the larger population certainly does not support such thoughts.

With all these actions, it seems that certain elements of our society are regressive and adamant in their ante towards all kinds of change.
Not just the muslim clergy but also the Khaps come to mind; politicians like Mamata Didi come to mind.
I wonder how it would look like when the society/human civilization at large keeps moving forward; and these elements (including the ones under their influence) remain frozen in their time warp.
How could that be? How can there be such an intense contrast? It implies tremendous friction on an incremental roll, I just don't know the threshold.
