On the March 28, Russian Presdint Dmitri Medvedev arrived in Kubinka to inspect the troops. Here are the photos.

Let me guess,

From Extreme left:

1.A USSR Tu-95 Bear is escorted by a USAF F-15.
2. IL - 78 Taxiing.
3. A NASA modified F-15 taking off.
4. A MiG-29 , launching a Air -to -Air Missile.
5. IL-78 Taxiing.

All fine,:113: but I'm not sure about the third picture.

if you search F-15 on wikipedia, you can find about the Nasa modified F-15, which is same as milky white colour and of same structure like that one, more over the Cargo plane taking off has marking of NASA, and the two aircrafts taking off in tandem. That's why I am assuming this.

Also note the distance of cockpit from tailfin.

No way is the aircraft in the earlier pic an F-15. They have their trademark cheek air inlets.

Kommunist, if you zoom the 3rd picture you have posted , you can see NASA printed on it. and since the picture you have posted taken from flying over head this can be confused by anybody, I realised which picture you have mentioned but please, visit this link:

and remove the Quiet spike attached to it.

I know its a NASA plane my friend. But even after removing the spike, if you look more closely at the areas I have marked in the pictures, you will get my point.

1. The distance between the tailfin and the cock-pit. Way longer in the one I posted than the one in Wiki.

2. There are no air intakes on the cheeks in the ones I posted. You cannot modify the airframe so heavily, that you redesign the air intakes.

It looks more like a SH, but I dont know what it is for sure.

May be, but the 1st picture bit hazy and the picture taken from over head therefore the confusion arises. There is another picture of F-15 of NASA available in Wiki. However, modification can be done.

May be a F-18, but still not sure about this.
