Finding proofs or arresting middle man in these cases are really difficult and rare. Both the Money giver and taker are usually High ranking officials who could easily hide files and have political influence. They also back stab in the name that blacklisting the company will adversely effect the armed forces. Govt also soften its stand to protect their relationship

Russians also already moved on to latest platforms and your super duper S-400, Akula itself become obsolete anyway.

Su30MKI, T-90, Mig-29 ---

Take out all western stuff from these platforms. And you got that, check red color part.

INS Vikramaditya ---

It is pure junk, even obsolete is bit respectable.

Mi17V5 , Smerch, Tanguska ---

Age old platforms anyway.

Better drag them in obsolete list.

Shivaliks and Talwars ---

Few equipment on these platforms are obsolete. Originally designed by Soviet navy.

K226T , FGFA ---

This platforms, are not yet in Indian inventory.

So you are basically telling everything designed in 80s and by Soviet are obselate.

The best air defence missile the west has is PAC-3 patriot, guess when it was designed?
Further S-400 is supposed to be better than Patriot,. so by that analogy, the West is putting their security on an obsolete anti missile and air defence missile?

How a particular weapon is used, defines how useful it is, and dont try to discount is as obsolete that easily.

C-130 Hercules, 60s tech, and we still want those,,, obsolete? but still good value.
Su-30 MKI, excellent plane, with good avionics which India wanted, and in our area, due to this plane, we are the top dogs.. Akula is old, but then does Pakistan have something better than that??

There are not much development in new tank technology, all the manufacturers are doing is just upgrading the oldiees,, Look at Leopard 2, its 70s tank, and still the mainstay of many countries, and the manufacturers rather than producing a new tank, they come up with better upgrades, There is no real bleeding edge change when it comes to tanks.

Let me give you another nice example, India used FN FAL and used well 7.62 X 51 and since NATO went for 5.56 mm so India also wanted to change and came up with its INSAS and armed all its soliders with it, Now it becomes apparent that 5.56 does not have the stopping power, and so back to 7.62 X 51 mm/ .. truly obsolete? or did not know the correct way to use? or lack of true vision
