The Votebank is responsible for the chaos that has hit the country.

When will be ever learn that we are all equal?

Partition divided us and that division continues within religious jockeying and divisions in communities instead of making India a cohesive whole.

It is so unfortunate that one has to be one has to prove one is Low to rise High!!

    The circus has started.

At this rate, one wonders what will be the next bid from the political parties!

It is laughable for the Congress to weep now that SP has queered the pitch for them.

It was after all the Congress which started the game and then Khurshed upped the quota and now, SP has upped the bid which look like Three No Trumps!

Cong thinks it is very intelligent. The smaller parties would go greater lengths than INC.

TN has 69% .So crossing the 50% mark is possible but I doubt whether 18% will be give to minorities.

    Politics is a strange thing.

18% can be given, if 69% can be given flouting the SC ruling!

Once again, I will strongly agree with Sardar Patel. Enough of this concession nonsense. This is 2012 and if after 63 years of giving favoritism to certain communities they are still unable to come up then it is time they rather start introspecting WHY is this situation still the same after more than half a century of concessions. This includes all the so-called SC, ST, 'minorities' etc.

Mostly they (the leaders of these "communities") won't. Why?

Because no one would refuses easy lifestyle.

If only there was somebody as strong as Sardar Patel today to eliminate this divisive reservation, the country would be able to utilize its full potential so well.

It is rather weird that a supposed minority member has to state this rather than the suffering majority.

Interesting to note how the Congress has transmogrified since the days of Independence!

    Same party, but different voice!

Well I did not know that Sardar Patel said so.

Anyway, Swapan Dasgupta seems to have the guts to bring it to the general public's notice.

If a law is placed in the 9th Schedule, it is beyond judicilal purview. I think TN's case was an exception.
Yeah I do know of the SC ruling but the TN case is still in court.
