Maoist:Height-162cm.
Weight-144lbs

Taliban:Height-170cm
Weight-160lbs.

NOTE:For Taliban I used data for Pathan Hill tribes and for Maoists I used data for Gond tribals.

The important comparison parameters should be local support, financial support (illicit funds), ammunition availability and warfare tactics.

I guess this is based on Deadliest Warriors on History Channel. It was a nice show. Anyways Weapons Check :-Taliban use Type-56 (Ak-56) Assault rifles,Rpg-7, Pkm machine gun. Maoist use stick grenade, Insas,FN-Fals, Ak-47 (captured or smuggled through Nepal and Bangladesh),heck even saw a maoist female chicks with M-16s in Bihar's naxalite region on NDTV India once :shocked:, Desi Or Chinese 9mm Pistols Stain guns and Brownings as their main Smgs. Both use IEDs and Crude Bombs for their advantage and Firepower. Gurella warfare forms the key modes operand of the two mentioned groups.

Infact there was a war between Maoists and NE Insurgents fighters.

It seems that the later merged as a part of Maoist group.
