No indians use weapons from bulgaria,romania,germany and russia.There are no chinese small arms except some used by counter insurgency units of J&K police and NE police commando units all of which are captured from the slain militants

I didnt blame insas;i just said it cant replace AKs which doesnt need any maintenance,plus cheap rate for ammos,superior reliability if compared with any other rifle,easy availability of spares ,low cost ,high stopping power etc are the few poinnts which justifies my claim that insas is not a substitute for AKs whether it is chinese or russian.
Insas suits suits only professional armies which engages very less on CT ops.Do you know why IA is not advocating for INSAS in kashmir?
Any way i am surprised o see bullet proof vests over a soldier from that part of world where 3 square meals a day is not even in the dreams of common man.
