Let me get this straight...

The people who almost killed her, is now yearning for glory of a Noble prize from her, for doing the same thing for which they almost killed her in the first place?

The Nobel Peace prize lost its credibility a long time ago, its the prizes in pure sciences that still hold merit. The peace prize like its science counterparts needed to have exemplary service,achievement for decades, yes decades, far more than time Malala has spent on planet Earth.

The snoots who award the Nobel Peace Prize could not have been more snootily condescending in their refusal to honor young Malala Yousafzai.

"She is an outstanding woman and I think she has a bright future and she will probably be a nominee next year or the year after that," snooted Nobel panel chairman Thorbjoern Jagland as the global accolade went to an affiliate of the United Nations that was thrust to prominence in the struggle over Syrian President Bashar Assad's chemical weapons.

In choosing the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the Nobelists again showed an affinity for genuflecting before high-purpose diplo organizations while being less interested in world-changing individuals like Malala. Her mortal enemies, the Taliban, were quite pleased, of course.

The fact that the blood-soaked Taliban fighters are now gloating at the news that Malala didn't win ought to embarrass the Nobel committee.

Their choice of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, a multilateral agency based in the Hague, was pretty preposterous.

It's a $92 million United Nations-linked paper-pushing agency founded in 1997, whose 500 bureaucrats draw salaries around $120,000.

Neither did OPCW deserve not Malala. WTF was the NPP constituted for? Spreading awareness for education?

OPCW would deserve to be a winner IF they done some actual work in getting rid of CWs. Malala under no circumstances should even make it to the shortlist as NPP is not for all that.

Yes she took a bullet and survived and sympathies for that, but I think around the world with so many wars being fought, I am sure there will be thousands of Malalas out there only that they may have no access to Internet and no access to write a blog on BBC that made them a celebrity.

Let's get some real winners now and not clowns like Obama and organizations like OPCWs.
