It is a shame that Field Marshall Sam Maneckshaw, the person who gave India its first outright military victory put paid the forever the Pakistani brouhaha that one Pakistan is equal to 10 Indians and wiped out the ignominy of 1962 and gave a sense of pride to the Nation, is missing from the list!

The spelling is as per the original.

    Very true Sir.

It's a pity that, Bharat Ratna has become a Baap Ki Jaagir for Congress, they use it for their political mileage :tsk:

Absolutely! Without Konkan Railways, Goa, coastal northern Karnataka and coastal southern Maharashtra would still have been mere fishing villages!

    Engineering marvel par excellence!

In sridharan's case not to forget Pamban bridge in Rameswaram in record time and resurrecting from the dead a Cochin Shipyard plagued by corrupt unions and politicians.
