LCA V JF17 Picture Comparison.. Which one 'looks' better

I like the single seater too. I don't like the early prototypes of LCA at all, they look like China built them and offered on soft loans but the recent ones have been impressive looking.

But both have put on a lot of weight...

This is more appealling in the look than the Single seater tejas, and obviously more sexyyyyyyyyyyyy

Looks is not a good premise to judge aircraft, but LCA has spent more time in development. It actually looks better thought out. I'm not happy with JF-17, all weather ally stabbed us in the back by not adopting these plain jane fighters.

In my opinion, the JF-17 has a much better side view than the LCA.
Otherwise, especially Top View, LCA is a beauty.

The design seems really good but the paintjob makes it a bit dull. Sharper grey colour along with a tinted canopy similar to F-16s would really show out its true looks.

LCA-Tejas beats JF-17 when it comes to beauty. I agree with others in certain angles JF-17 may look better but overall LCA-Tejas wins hands down

I wish they had given a rhombus shape to the intakes for Tejas, similar to what the F/A-18 SH did with its earlier design. It would be better. Also a bit larger air intakes could have been a better addition. I wonder why do we always have to go for the "smallest, lightest, compact" etc in everything. Tejas, Arihant, both are strategic weapons and both are smallest in their categories.
