My father was a student at the University of Heidelberg in 1937. He and his friends would taunt the SA in the Bierstube with "Heil Moskau!" and similar taunts. God knows why he wasn't shot. He also tried to join the Reichsarbeitsdienst <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reichsarbeitsdienst> but was denied by Hitler himself.
I love Germany. Used to work there and nowadays visit at least five times a year. Love their free speed limits, cheap beer and open approach to all human. Also Finland can thank Germany for its indepence and democracy.
