Ukraine is not Russia's vassal. Ukraine is part of Russia.

Holdomor happened because of the mismanagement of the local Ukrainian Soviets. Look up what the word "Soviet" means. Holdomor happened decades ago. Do you also want to talk about dinosaurs?

Coming back to Japan, the point stands. Japan acted in a certain way, so Russia is now taking a hard line against Japan. It was not wise of Japan to piss off PRC and Russia at the same time.

Anyone who thinks that an arbitrary and artificial border between the Russian Federation and the Ukraine separating people with same language, culture, nationality, family members on both sides, makes them different people, is the one who lives in la-la land.

Noch mals, Ukraine (Malo-Russia) + Belarus (Byelo-Russia) + Russian Federation + Kazakhstan = Russia.
