The question is how much US must yield to China to get cooperation.

It's of vital importance for both the USA and China to clarify / figure out what that "Piovt to Asia" implies. Not doubt young Kim perceives there's mutual suspicion in between over this.
Otherwise it's hollow to chant "common interest".
