Kazakhstan suspends testing Russian missiles on Kazakh territory due to missile crash incident
The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan has suspended testing the Russian missiles of the territory of Kazakhstan due to the MN-300 missile crash in one kilometer from the village in West Kazakhstan region on March 27, the press service of the Ministry reported Friday.
On March 27 at about 2:25 am of Moscow time, the meteorological rocket MN-300 of the MP-30 complex has crushed in 1 km from the village of Shungay. The fragments of the missile were found at the crash site.
The test launch of the missile was carried out by the Ministry of Defense of Russia within the 2014 plan agreed with the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan on November 28, 2013.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the fallen remnants of the missile have not caused any environmental damage. There are no injured.
"Currently, the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan has suspended missile test launches until completion of the investigations," said in the message.
