PEAK 5353 is under pak or india?
I don't understand. Is that a question or a veiled statement?

Tiger Hill, Kargil - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:
Tiger Hill or "Point 5353" is a mountain in the Drass-Kargil area of Jammu & Kashmir. It is the highest peak in the area and was the subject of the most famous battle during the 1999 India-Pakistan Kargil War. Its recapture was the most important objective for Indian forces during the Kargil War

And you think i don't understand your cheap, lowly and pitiful debating skill. You put that statement on purpose out of nowhere and I responded with;

" Is that a question or a veiled statement? "

And this is not the first time you brought up this point to hijack a thread so please take your ----- business elsewhere.

New Delhi, Feb. 1 (ANI): Expressing disappointment over the explosive revelation that former Pakistan Army Chief Pervez Musharraf had crossed the Line of Control (LoC) in 1999 and spent a night on the Indian-controlled side, defence analyst Bharat Verma on Friday said this latest disclosure is a major setback for Indian intelligence agencies.

Verma, who was responding to a poser on Pakistan Army Colonel (Retired) Ashfaq Hussain's book 'Witness to Blunder' wherein, he has exposed Pervez Musharraf and blamed him for the unwarranted aggression against India in 1999, and revealed that the former army chief had himself crossed over the LoC, said 'the revelation by Colonel Hussain, a former member of the ISI, Pakistan Army, in his book is a very major setback for India's intelligence agencies'.

"If an army chief of an enemy country with four-star ranking is spending a night eleven kilometres inside Indian territory, it's a total collapse of the intelligence services of India, whether it is RAW, IB or military intelligence. That a general of the Pakistan Army can come in, can plan, can sleep inside Indian territory. And here, we are not talking of across the border intelligence, we are talking of intelligence failure right inside our own territory which is very difficult to digest for a citizen of this country," said Verma.

"The problem is that the amount of money a taxpayer is spending on security architecture, it is not giving the relevant output or the output that should have come to secure the nation. The nation is getting more and more insecure due to these continuous failures on behalf of the intelligence community," he added.

Hussain in his book says that 'the Kargil misadventure was masterminded by Major General Javed Hassan, General Mehmood and General Aziz. They made Musharraf agree to the plans, which later lead to a limited conflict between India and Pakistan'.

Leading television channels in India and Pakistan are quoting Hussain as claiming that Musharraf had himself crossed the LoC and spent a night on the Indian-controlled side.

"On 28th March 1999 General Pervez Mushrraf crossed 11 kms beyond the LoC on a helicopter and was escorted by Colonel Amjad Shabbir at a location named Zakriya"Mustakar," he says. (ANI)

kargil was blunder because of no strategic planning

we wanted the highest peak in kargil and we captured it.and stil have under

More kargil will happen though onwards 2014 when WOT is stopped
Not Only the generals but commoners like Farhan also are into lie and lies...
Now a new theory....

If more Kargils will happen, IA will welcome those as target practice opportunities and Pakistanies will be doomed and send to hell from there.

First, keep safe your GHQ and airfields.... those are nothing less than Kargils...

Sure let more Kargil come... we would love to bury Pak soldiers on our soil with full Islamic Rites since you love letting your soldiers rotttt in enemy land and refuse taking their bodies back and even even refuse if they are their soldiers.Kargil is now known for graveyard of Pakis.

Indian Army has mastered the technique of reading "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un" to show love to our Paki brothers who died fighting like a mouse and put dirt on their graves.

Let more Kargils come and let Pakis get more and more isolated and later more Pak Generals come up with truth only to embarass Pakis.Even China asked you to backk off LoC... poor Pakis got heartbroken... pyar me dhokha by their "all weather friend"

Last night, In Timesnow debate a Pak retd Brigadier stated that seven batallion of PA were involved in the incursions of which five were of NLI, one of Sindh regiment and one from Gilgit/Baltistan Scouts. Very few of these soldiers were able to make it back. This means that of the nearly 5600 soldiers who came inside India (considering that each Pak batallion had 800 troops) only one thousand odd made it back. The 435 killed as accepted by PA were its regular men as NLI and Scouts are Paramilitary troops as per Pak defence set up. He also disclosed that such heavy was the bombardment by IA that Pak troops ran out of food & ammo and cud not be resupplied in any manner. This matches the statements made by Nawaz Shariff that over 3500 Pak troops died during Kargil War.

Capt. Karnel sher of Sindh Regiment of PA, who fought valiantly against us on Tiger Hill and showed remarkable bravery, was disowned by PA as being a jihadi/Mujahidin. It was IA who than decided to write his commendation for bravery award that forced PA to accept his body and award him Nishan-e Haider or whatever they call it. he was the fourth such officer of PA whose commendation for a medal for outstanding valour was written by IA. This is the tradition of IA, we honour the Brave.
