What better way to move towards the release of your film than taking the blessings of Bappa first. Director Madhur Bhandarkar and Kareena Kapoor celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi, the first day at Sarvajanik Ganeshostav Mandal at Bandra in Mumbai on September 19, Wednesday.
Dressed in all traditional attire, Kareena and Madhur offered prayers to Ganesha for the success of their forthcoming release Heroine. The crowd gathered in big numbers, while Madhur-Kareena commenced aarti.

It may be noted here, that, earlier, the director-actress duo had launched the music of their film in Siddhivinayak temple. "We will go wherever Bappa calls us," said Madhur.

UTV Motion Pictures and Bhandarkar Entertainments film 'Heroine' is slated to release worldwide on September 21. The film also stars Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda, Divya Dutta and Shahana Goswami.
