Of course, freeloaders should not hold high office. But then can one throw out the old like rotten vegetables?

Congress has wanted the Govt to give the rationale for this sack.

    Vendetta or clearing rotten deadwood?

I saw the news and it appears that massive man who can hardly wobble in the guise of walking and Governor of Uttarakhand too has been sacked for a comment on rape.

Any idea what he said that warranted his finding new pastures to be put to?

Deadwood she was, nothing better than Sonia's rubber stamp. If it is vendetta, then she amply earned it.

She shouldn't even have been appointed as Governor of Mizoram, she should have been sacked from Gujarat. She and Bhardwaj were the cons of Con.

Mizoram governor Kamla Beniwal axed for ‘misuse’ of office in Gujarat - The Times of India

Oh she is rotten alright. It is good if the Govt. does take stern actions like this without exception. Just because someone held a respected post for while should not give them immunity from reprisal for their rotten action in the name of courtesy. Further, it is not 'only' 4 months but a qtr. of a year - a pretty long time till her tenure to be over. Who knew what damage she would have done by delaying some other works and replacing people with sycophants?

    To hamen maza kya aata?

Mind you, Pranab did not act as rubber stamp of Sonia, and is not likely to be that of Modi either.

We indeed have very 'illustrious' Governors.

    Heart throbs of the Gandhis?

Nice to see Sachin Gurjar supporting her.
