As the 153+ Mirage are going to retire, it makes sense to induct 200+ jf-17.
For links to the contract, you better look for Javed Chaudhary's articles since
I do not know Urdu. IMHO, he seems to be an honest journalist who continues
to expose Pak establishment. As per this article, All-weather doormat | The Filter Coffee,
I have no qualms that Paki's continue to appease the chinese and the chinese keep
milking them.
highly unlikely jft being multirole can fill the role of both mirage and f7

paf squadron strength are suppose to decrease to 22 by 2020

so far only 150 jft are confirmed only

Anyways, keep su**ing hard just as you did with
US and blow up the shit**le asap.
So essentially you have no rebuttal to the point that there is no official or credible link to this fantastic '$10 Billion for 250 aircraft' deal claim, and that it makes absolutely no sense for either China or Pakistan to sign an agreement for aircraft whose final technical composition and cost is yet to be determined.

Other than that, keep spouting all the abuse and derogatory comments you wish to keep yourself happy and comforted - the language you choose to use reflects on you, not Pakistanis.

If the final specs for JF17 is not final, how did Pak order 150 examples and why are they running around trying to find export customers? On what basis are you peddling for export when you don't know the specs

All 150 aircraft have not been ordered yet - the 150 JF-17 number refers to the currently planned number of JF-17 the PAF wishes to acquire, that number does not indicate the actual specifications of all 150 aircraft nor does it indicate the final per unit cost of the 150 planned aircraft. Production/orders of the JF-17 for Pakistan will be executed in batches, as they have been so far, and each batch could potentially have a different per-unit cost based on actual aircraft specifications at that point in time.

Well, that $10 billion may include the transfer of technology etc. too. Main thing is the the interest rate of 7% and the overrated hype of JF 17 being a JV.
It sounds about right. When you take R&D into account, the aircraft should come out around that. Unit price is around $30 million.

This is not what others claim? rd-93 will be for China's planes
Russians only giving 100 engines every 3-4 years, what will be exported knockoffs?
The Chinese seem to have bought 500 RD-93 engines in total. All for the export market. Not sure if China itself plans on using the aircraft.

99% they won't buy it for themselves because they already have the J-10. They have also developed the J-31 for export and it comes with the RD-93.

The WS-13 may not be a production ready engine.

i guess the priority of Ws13 development increased with the intro of j 31

rd93 thrust is Ok for jft but way too less for j31 even if 2

Ws13a with 100thrust is the only answer
