    It is the fault of China that Japan is becoming militarist, abandoning their professed non militarist posture.

    If there was no incident over the islands claimed by China and then having a spat over it, Japan would have no excuse for this exercise.

    Japan is well aware of the threat to it from China and even Korea.

    A simultaneous Naval Drills should be carried just like India is engaged with France in Varuna-2011, and now Japan is doing its own drills, even Indonesia and south korea should join in, then the Uncle would be surely coming to join in.....! That would send a strong message to the Chinese to refrain from their Naval activities.
