Please see my article on the Change in Govts J&K policy from Defensive - Reactive and purely confined to consequence management in own territory- to a PROACTIVE stance. Please see my article in Dainik Jagaran today. This policy shift - this Pivot was overdue for the last 30 years. Thank god it has finally been taken and Pakistan put on notice that there will be costs and consequences. we should now work for a SAARC less Pak. Ever South Asian country is now sick of the shenenigans of Pak and its support to terror not just in India but equally in Af, Bangladesh, Iran and India.With the road thru our territory in Gilgit- Baltistan and POK and the sale of Baluchistan to China- With a Naval base in Gwader to threaten our energy supplies- The China - Pak combination has gone on a war- path. We now need to react sharply.

cnbc awaz tonight had a debate on similar subject. all except the BJP spokie literally pounced upon Sushil Pandit, calling him 'communal' & what-not. NC's junaid mattoo literally started screaming & cursing him! & those 'varishtha patrakaar' types like rajendra tiwari & abhay dube were spouting phenomenal bile (rajendra tiwari - "patthar to desh mein har jagah protesters fenkte hain, to sirf Kashmiri stone-pelters ko hi kyon deshdrohi kaha jaata hai")!.......with such scums in the country, the future is not very bright.

regards J&K policy, i believe that nothing less than russia's chechnya approach would work, or pork should be neutralised. the Indian Army needs to be given a FULL FREE HAND in the region with backing from the country & central political dispensation. some leader needs to arise that is ready to take the 'blot' of 'HR violations/genocide' upon himself for future. am ready. islamist menace knows no other language! all the politically correct jalebi-making has never helped, wont ever help, till either the total decimation of pork is achieved or/and jihadis in the valley are crushed to pulp with a super iron hand! no..effin'..solution..other than that!!

P.S. - BJP is mulling upon making Ladakh a UT, and the people there are also supportive of it.
