DUBAI: ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and three of his top aides were seriously ill after being poisoned during a lunchtime feast and have been shifted to an unknown location under strict measures, media reports claimed today.

Meals prepared for Baghdadi and three other ISIS leaders were allegedly poisoned in Nineveh's Be'aaj district in Iraq, several Arabic-language and Iranian news sites reported.

Citing a source, Iraqi news agency WAA said the four are suffering from "severe poisoning" and "have been transferred to an unknown location under strict measures."

After the incident, ISIS militants were conducting several arrests in order to determine who was behind it.

Baghdadi, who has reportedly been wounded multiple times, carries a USD 10 million bounty on his head.

News of Baghdadi's poisoning came as Iraqi media claimed some top ISIS commanders were among 16 militants killed when one of the leaders' explosive belt exploded during a meeting.

"A number of the ISIS members were wearing explosive belts during the meeting, and the explosion took place due to a defect in one of them," Al-Sumaria Iraqi media outlet said.

ISIS or IS is an al-Qaeda splinter group and it has seized hundreds of square miles in Iraq and Syria.

Al-Qaeda has distanced itself from the group, chiding it for its lack of teamwork in its aggressive, brutal expansion.

    this:

probably he has been killed. nonetheless, recently an audio-tape of IS has emerged where they're claiming to have moved to the caves of Tora-Bora in Afghanistan.

Don't be surprised if this news is created by al-Jazeera as a strategy to upshow Russia against the Americans.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi dead: Russia says it may have killed Isis leader in Raqqa air strike
The Russian defence ministry says it believes it may have killed the Isis leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi in an air strike south of Raqqa, Syria. In a statement, the ministry said it was still seeking confirmation following the strike in late May.

The air strike targeted a meeting of Isis leaders on 28 May, Russian news agencies cited the defence ministry as saying.

"According to the information which is now being checked via various channels, Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who was eliminated by the air strike, was also present at the meeting," RIA news agency quoted the ministry as saying.

Now ISIS is more appealing to Jihadis than Taliban which is more Pashtun-centric. ISIS is more "cosmopolitan" and more violent and one only has to declare ideological support to ISIS to be counted as ISIS "member".

1st half of video seems to be genuinely taken, where its mentioned taliban being controlled by napaki intelligence agencies and isis factions developed for few hundred dollars (any one can be there masters from dark room).

Second half briefly tells about napakistani propaganda, how they are victims of terrorism chutiyaas.. boasting themselves. Napakis will never tell how they are supporting LeT. And being killed back because of there own deeds to support terrorism in afganistan.

Sad to see small children of afgans caught up in this vicious islamic war .

Keeping him alive gives relevance and importance to the fight against ISIS. Once he is dead, people will think ISIS is finished and there is no need for US involvement in the region. US of course does not want that to happen.

I personally feel that for US, keeping Baghdadi alive for a couple of years is crucial.
