A new Metro Rail Act will facilitate greater private participation and investment in construction and operation, he said.

The railways employ 1.3 million people directly.In 2015, GE and Alstom SA won contracts worth $5.6 billion to build locomotives for the railways. GE won a $2.6 billion deal for diesel engines and will invest $200 million to build a factory under a joint venture with Indian Railways, the company said then. Alstom will make electric engines in a contract worth about $3 billion.

The media as usual gives BS reports. The ISI agent was arrested for conspiracy to blast trains and tracks which was foiled. The kanpur train incident was an accident which has been clarified by rail enquiry board. That said Nepal is becoming a den of anti India activities and we must close the open border and introduce visas for nepalis.

Actually he was deported from Dubai. In Nepal he was wanted for a double murder case and recently interpol has issued a red corner notice for him (yet to seen on whose behest) followed by which he was arrested in Dubai and subsequently deported to Nepal. Many firsts in this case.

INDIAN RAILWAYS AND ITS SAFETY FACTOR,SECURITY SYSTEM.

Dear Roma, we always used to see that a large number of Adhivasi gathereed and blocked Railway Track to fullfilled there demands,targeting as Rail Roko Andolan,sometimes sabotage etc. Here, Kurmi Sabha members in Jhargram and Odisha to Agitated for their demand of Schedule Tribe status and recognition of the Kurmi language in the Constitution.
At Jhargram's Sardiha Station, Kurmi Sabha members organised a rail roko that allegedly turned violent with hurling of stones and bricks at police,injuring SDPO Jhargram among others.
West Midnapore Sp Bhararti Ghosh said,the agitators demands were forwarded to the state some police were injured when mob turned violent.
Rail Roko over scheduled Tribe status demands can be taken care of to recognition of the Kurmali language in the constitution. but decency and civilised society is among the peoples of Kurmali very important.
Interestingly, every ST and SC community are trying to proof their identity and constitutional demands by agitating Rail Roko andolan or National Highway Blocked. question is arising how this tribes group crossing limits and fall into criminal activities to take law and order situations in own hand and making fresh agitation to STOP railway track,Roads etc are blocked. this is proving that law order situations inremote villages is loosing hand and due to negligence they are jumps into trust of criminal gangs. This is true the Schedule Tribe of Kurmali language must be noticed and put forwarded notice to state priviledged . but they should take law and order in own hands.

Indian Railways safety factor and Security System.

**** Dear Roma, we need to improved security system in running trains, say, EMU's, Passenger Trains, Long distance Express Trains.
It has been notice that many militant organization are trying to use Rail Network as their communication path. Every stations in South 24 Parganas and North 24 Parganas having temporary pan shops,fruit shops, inside stations. It is objectionable that stalls, shops are not allowed in stations but according to poverty line and sources of income, it has taken care of to freely can sell small consumer goods. If it is made under IRCTC brand, then all small and bigger shops in the following stations will be under IRCTC standard rule. It is noice in only Junctions and bigger stations.
It is mandatory to made all small and bigger stores come under IRCTC category, so that everyday the information businesses running by militant outfits from specific stations can be monitored and controlled by railway security forces. Once the stalls in every stations are guided and Sealed by IRCTC then it is easier to monitored and controlled information businesses, criminal activities and agitation or rail roko etc.
