    No because Islamic banques don't even adhere to Sharia law. Name one that has a 100% reserve ratio.

    Question is not if they follow sharia or not question is of its economical viability with 150 million muslim population in india and how does this impact such a big portion of population ideologically and its impact on indian strategic interests and internal and external security?

    How can it be Islamic banqing if it doesn't follow Sharia? It is just different versions of regular banking if it isn't.

    Islamic has to follow Sharia... it is in the definitiion.
