Yes we are but we can't or not supposed to claim that openly ! Why ? We are pseudo secular !

Even though Hindu's are are in Majority, we can't say that we are a proud Hindu's. Kudos to our so called ----ing politicians.

No one it appears are denying their roots as such.

It is only the awareness of the religion that makes the difference.

Christianity has Sunday School for children to be lessoned in the Bible. However, the enforcement is not very strict and so it is not that serious as it was before.

In Islam, learning the Koran under a theological teacher is mandatory for most. Hence, they are more aware.

In Hinduism it is a freewheeling religion, In the olden days there were the grandmothers and grandfathers who taught the epics, but today, who has the time?

Being educated in mission and secular schools, there is no chance of any religion seeping in!

Even in Christian schools, the emphasis of it being Bible oriented has diminished immensely.

Given India's construct, it cannot be a Hindu alone country!
