Is beaming electricity from moon to earth feasible?

    If so, why not beam electricity around on earth itself, saving on the cost of expensive power grid?

    Not bad but they didn't mention the cost of this huge project.

    If the investors are looking for a cheaper alternative they should take help from ISRO in this regard.:D

    I used to think about stuff like this when I watched a lot of anime, beaming energy from space, like a giant destructive laser beam! If it could be used for peaceful purposes oh yeah! I hope they do it, we can turn the whole of the moon into a solar farm....we can give the chinese a reason to not mine the hell out of the moon :p
