Iran unveils its latest combat chopper Toufan II

    Iran has unveiled its latest combat chopper Toufan II that features the country’s “latest achievements in electronics, optics, laser and armament capabilities”, state media reported.

    The Toufan II chopper was unveiled Wednesday at a ceremony attended by Defence Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, Xinhua reported citing Press TV.

    Vahidi said the chopper belongs to a new generation of combat helicopters and features modern and advanced technologies, including high-precision targeting capability.

    The engine part, even makes me curious. Iran Defence Industry is capable to reverse engineer, but not the engines

    It seems these Toufan Helicopters will transferred to Army

    i think Iran will simply re-engineer huey engines to power this indigenous chopper as the Iranian Defence Industry don't have the expertise to make modern engines!:ranger:

    "latest achievements" according to Iran. It will still be at least 2 generations behind current tech.
