The situation in Tibet must be very messy for the Chinese and since Tibet has been closed once again to outsiders, very little information can trickle out.

There is no doubt that the Chinese are right when they say -"The lifeblood of Tibet rests in ethnic unity, social harmony and stability,".

Indeed it can be achieved. It can be achieved if the Chinese Communist heed the Dalai Lama's advice to allow autonomy to Tibet so that the Tibetans can maintain their language, religion, religious practices, traditions and customs.

But then, it is not that the Han Chinese don't like Tibetans. They do.

However, the Han loves themselves more and so they want the Tibetans to love them too and become Han as all the others have done so throughout the Chinese History!
