INSAS improved 1B1, With 30rnd magazine from LMG and Zess red dot sight and 40mm UBGL ..
I just hope that next time someone replace the buttstock with AKM`s folding one, They are interchangeable ..

Dear @Kunal Biswas, just one simple question. What is the trigger mechanism for the UBGL? Hope both the Rifle and Grenade launcher mechanism are same.

They are different, The trigger is a switch on right sides of the system and has independent aiming sights at left ..
I too read that the trigger mechanism lies in the side of the barrel. It means its not ambidextrous? wouldn't it had been convenient to make such a system?

Indian forces preference of UBGL are all like that, Other UBGL in Army and Paramilitary have same design except GP-30 UBGL ...

UBGL M6 used by BSF and Cobras.

===================================

PARA SF and other SF use Turkish / Bulgarian origin UBGL, Same side switch feature ..

30 round magazines are too long that it will touch the ground if the soldier is lying down, atleast in some case, isn't it bro?

30 round is the standard capacity for assualt rifles, if you're a soldier this is more important than some discomfort, better to have 30 rounds in the magazine then having to reload more frequently and carry extra magazines.

MCIWS might be renamed, "Advanced Assault Rifle". You partially see two different stock designs of it behind the man.

Bottom right board partially shows a new grenade launcher for assault rifles, looks like it has a pistol grip.

You can see parts of the MCIWS on the table.

All the new models seem to not have foldable iron sights.

True, 20rnd magazine for Assault rifle was a requirement when 1B1 GSQR was prepared ..

Its same for Excalibur, But not for MICWS / AAR ..

But again, 1B1 can accept INSAS LMG magazine too ..
