India expels 3 Chinese journos for un-journalistic activities :clap2:

No official reason was given for the Indian government’s decision, but sources said the three had come under the “adverse attention of security agencies” for allegedly indulging in activities beyond their journalistic brief.

Kudos to security agencies.

They were reportedly making multiple trips to Nepal ... doing activities against India's interests.

If expelling of three Chinese journalists by India is a revenge for China's opposition to its Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) membership, there will be "serious consequences", said a state-run daily urging Beijing to respond in a similar manner.

In a hard-hitting editorial, the Global Times said: "China should take actions to display our reaction."

"We at least should make a few Indians feel Chinese visas are also not easy to get," the editorial said.

The piece came in the wake of India's refusal to extend the visas of three Chinese journalists from Xinhua news agency, owned by the Chinese government.

However, the officials in India's External Affairs Ministry have said that Xinhua could always send new replacements.

"No official reason was given for the rejection of the visa renewals. Some Indian media claimed that the three journalists were suspected of impersonating other people to access several restricted departments in Delhi and Mumbai with fake names," the editorial said.

"There were also reports attributing it to the journalists' meeting with exiled Tibetan activists. Moreover, speculation is swirling that India is taking revenge against China for the latter's opposition to India joining the NSG."

"If New Delhi is really taking revenge due to the NSG membership issue, there will be serious consequences," said the daily which is known for acerbic tone.

Earlier during the congress rule, these very Chinese were making incursion to out territory setting up tents on India side and putting up for weeks... they tried the same with this government too... last year the India troops were sent and were eye ball to eye ball... and were separated by 100 yards from each other ... there is a marked change in way the present government is dealing with Chinese ...

Typical double standards.
When China deployed assets on border, did India say anything.
BTW, written by some writer called Hong Soon-Do from Beijing.:dude:
China-India Relations Worsen Rapidly
so what? US warship sail in SCS, and china cries like a baby. :pound::pound:
time is coming to teach the chinise a lesson in noodle making.

I donno why we give any bhav to any of the Chinese opinions especially in aspects of their military capabilities.

They haven't fought any wars in the last 30 years, let them win atleast one military expedition outside of their own borders.

Until then, I don't give a damn about what Chinese have to say.

see it is all propaganda. after SCS ruling, chinise 50 cent trolls in all forums are posting articles like 'this chinise is better than US", "will US want to fight with chinise this and that weapon" etc. what happens is US, India do not even care as both know chinise can be kicked in their ass, but small nations like philipines, malaysia, they read all this troll stuff. this creates the what if scenario in their mind, and they think chininse is powerful, so better not to fight. this is propaganda/psychologic warfare that 50 cent trolls are aksed to do recently.

like we have kautilya, chinise have sun tzu, and sun tzu have said that - the supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting. understand why @Martian and other CCP 50 cent trolls have become so active after SCS ruling?

Come up with better response.
Are you an American or an Indian.
You must boast of your own countries deployments on border or intervention in SCS. Cheering for others is slave mentality.

Mount Kailash ... that will and must be the new centre point of talks and focus. the area from rebujie lake to ngari can and must be with the republic of india. access to mount kailash has been with and for and from India and Hindus since BC.

aksin chin was about access to xinjiang. and the communists weren't able to talk and speak coherently instead showed the gun. it made no difference if they needed permits from India before 1962 to enter that area.

Mount Kailash has no significance to Communist and Chinese people unlike to India and Hindus. Buddhism also was after wards and upholds more India position. People and access has been majorly only from India and the infrastructure and geography substantiates such conclusively. Kashmir, Himachal and Uttarakhand name a few. No need go all way to east and even through Tibet!!

this superstition that Communist are only holding on Trust the Tibet and surrounding areas for certain amount of time and thereafter the normal generational border will be used is unkind to having the reality known that Mount Kailash and its connection with India and Hindus. the contingency must be in place when the trust arrangement is broken down we must have Kailash within the republic of india. there must be no saddam hussain behavior where he lit up the oil wells. no chance and ability.

All also know the story how Mussolini negotiated with the Vatican ...

Mount Kailash would be and must be similar to Vatican but the authority around it and inside it must be only India and Hindus. It must be a protected area and zone. Seeing PRC suggested use for commercial means (mineral water) and sports (climbing the face of mount kailash) is shocking. It would be wise to ban access to nearby Mount Kailash. It is not a tourist area but a religious and sacred one that must be respected and untouched. It is not a Kohinoor that can be stolen and taken and used.

Many rivers of India and nearby originate from that area. It is unbelievable that such is not reestablished with India.

India and PRC relations. India is only starting to move into first gear. Theoretically PRC can move and survive without Mount Kailash like India can without Aksin Chin ... it would be a fair trade and arrangement.
But i doubt the PRC leadership have such thoughts and forward thinking. It would create a long lasting border settlement and it would be interesting to note if India proposed such in boundary talks on resolution.

Its also always a good sight to see when Pakis and PRC communists get into arguments and fight. Its like the former is suddenly angry but the latter is naturally able to respond. But the former has a lot of fuel ... PRC needs to have India in its good books.

File photo of Xi Jinping and Narendra Modi in Ahmedabad
HIGHLIGHTS
  • PM Modi is likely to meet Chinese President Xi Jingping on the sidelines of G-20 summit
  • The summit will take place at Hangzhou in China
  • Modi is also likely to meet US President Barack Obama
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the G-20 Summit at Hangzhou in China on September 4-5, said government sources.
Though the details of the meeting have not yet emerged, if it does take place, it would be the first meeting between Prime Minister Modi and President Jinping after their meeting on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit held in Uzbekistan capital Tashkent, where the Prime Minister had urged China to make a "fair and objective assessment" of India's application on merit for India's membership of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG ).
Prime Minister Modi is also expected to hold a bilateral meeting with US President Barack Obama, which is likely to be their last official engagement with President Obama's presidency set to end on January 20, 2017.
Both the leaders are likely to discuss among other issues concerning terrorism and NSG.
