The 1 MT that is usually suggested with early Agnis capable of 1.5 ton bus are most likely Fusion Boosted Fission warheads and not TN.

Can you explain why. Agni is just a delivery system. It has nothing to do with the warhead it carries. If TN bomb weighs less than 1.5 tons, certainly it can be carried by Agni 5.

He is just talking about the Nuke tech. India does have boosted fission arsenal for sure, but a pure fusion based system, even if it exists with India, is under wrap.
