That's why one should never trust the damned 'red necks' in the first place, all they do is show double standards. But unfortunately it's our necessity right now. This wouldn't have been a problem if our Tri-service command put some faith in indigenous manufacturing, "abhi tak to sabh foreign maal tha". If the progress we are making, which is still slow IMHO, but slowly but steadily we are achieving indigenous manufacturing skills.
I still doubt there tech though, because they still eavesdrop on military services using there assets they've sold to many, for example ... an ATC at Edwards air force base already knows that an F16 is active and about to make a sortie. This kind of telemetry is more hardened across there F35 variants. With real time tracking of each asset as soon as it lifts off.
I hope we didn't made a grave mistake by making deal with the devil, in short ... LAMOA

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit US between June 25 and June 27, landing straight Washington DC. There's however no immediate knowledge of his schedule and the event is likely to be a no frills one, restricted to meetings with US President Donald Trump.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to meet US President Donald Trump for the first time since he took oath of office in January this year. Speculations are rife that this trip will be one little to no fanfare, restricted only to business. According to a report in today’s Economic Times, the two leaders will also meet at the G20 Summit later in July. The officials still want to go ahead with the visit in order to enable the two world leaders to get to know each other, in a way ensuring a bilateral meeting before a multilateral one.
Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to visit US between June 25 and June 27, landing straight in Washington DC. The ET reported that plans for a sortie to Houston planned by community activists has been cancelled. His schedule at the White House also appears restricted with a details yet to be taken on the timings and the format of the meeting between the two leaders.
According to reports, Modi is also schedule to have a few business engagements that will include industry round-table with US CEOs along with meetings with individual lawmakers.
The leaders have previously had telephonic conversation where the US emphasised that it considered India “a true friend and partner in addressing challenges around the world.” Economy and defense partnerships were also discussed along with strengthening of the security of the South and Central Asia regions. Trump and Modi both resolved to fight together in the “global fight against terrorism.” Trump had also noted that he would look forward to meeting Modi later in the year.

US wants India to join her to contain China in East Asia or at least SCS, not in IOR. Everyone knows, when war comes, Chinese navy can't get into IOR before they defeat US and her allies in SCS.
India can't expect US to treat her as a genuine partner if she insists to stay far away from the front and leave US to do all the works.

PM MODI, DONALD TRUMP LIKELY TO BREAK ICE OVER DINNER
NEW DELHI: Narendra Modi and Donald Trump are expected to break the ice with a personal dinner meeting which will be an important event as both leaders will get an opportunity to take a measure of the other. Trump and Modi will hold their official talks on June 26 in a familiar routine: restricted talks followed by delegation level talks, a meeting with CEOs and a press conference.
Modi will be doing a modest diaspora event a day before in Washington DC itself.
Earlier, there was talk of him going to Houston in response to an invitation by Texan legislators and the huge Indian diaspora in that state. But the US of 2017 is not as immigrant friendly as it was until last year, when Modi could wow US politicians with his own rallies.
Answering a question, MEA spokesperson, Gopal Baglay told journalists on Friday, "We had indeed looked at some options... but with the overall time factor, we don't have the flexibility. But, in Washington DC, he will have a community interaction."
The meeting with the US and Indian CEOs may be part of the official program.
But the US-India Business Council has an event planned on the morning of the 27th with apparently US vice-president Mike Pence among the attendees. Sources said the event was crafted with the intention of having Modi there as chief guest, but there appears to be some crossed wires between the business body and the Indian government.
As a matter of fact, Modi is not even in the US on the 27th, since he would be in the Netherlands on a working visit.
So far, Modi's engagement with the Congress too is minimal, though that could change as the visit comes closer. In his last visit, Modi had delivered a very successful address to both Houses of Congress.
While the reduced engagement could be due to Congress' preoccupation with domestic upheavals, it has been felt that India should engage more closely with the legislature, which would be important if Congress considers new laws on tech visas or immigration, which might have an impact in India.
The visit has a strong geo-political content, while things appear to be somewhat up in the air on economic issues.
There will be some strong shared sentiments on combating terrorism, and some sources expect progress on greater cooperation in maritime security particularly in the Indian Ocean.
In some sense, India and US might have to walk down a familiar path again, as both sides re-learn to work with each other. Part of the problem is Trump's mercurial personality — an off-chance remark, or tweet, could upset the optics of the visit.
India watchers in Washington are dismayed by what seems to be a lack of attention and capacities by the important arms of the administration, like the State Department.
They also point to the flip-flops in policy with regard to China, Europe and now Middle East. The last saw stunning see-saws with Trump first castigating Qatar for supporting terror groups and the next day the US signing a $12 billion defence deal with Qatar.
