Here's a couple of good Indian jazz singers.


Amid all the Bollywood shit we get to hear, these two are a relief:


The first is a band from Shillong, called Soulmate, with Tripti 'TIPS' Kharbanakar, in the lead. She's big in the Delhi-Gurgaon-Noida-Ghaziabad-Faridabad-Pune-Mumbai and Bangalore circuit having established herself well and represented India at int'l bigwigs including the Colorado Evergreen jazz festival and Java Jazz.

The second is a good ol' Indian lass from Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu called Susheeela Raman. She's a jazz fusion - classical carnatic singer and is currently collaborating working with Sam Mills in Tamil Nadu on a future project.
