Indian Customs have a number of boats and vessels, giving them a fair marine policing capability.

"Sea Patrol Vessel":

The vessel has been manufactured by Gold Bridge Engineering and Construction Berhad in Malaysia. The vessel has a cruising speed of 30 knots per hour and its length is 20 metres with a displacement capacity of 36 tonnes.

The vessel has communication systems of VH, HF, and VHF frequencies, a satellite phone, GPS, echo sounder, night vision equipment, and radar with detection capacity of 48 nautical miles.
