On Tuesday Shaheed Aminika saved the lives of 207 CoBRA battalion commandos as she came across a booby trap at Jharkhand's Latehar district which got blasted during IED search.

In some units these Pariah dogs are trained as guard dogs, Some places there are 10 dogs to every post, They are feed at Unit`s langar and soldiers know them by their names given by soldiers themselves, They are best mates at frontline ..

These are better than those sophisticated gadgets which tend to malfuntion ..

Helmet are a good start, BPJs are on their way and guns are in the pipeline. Once these fundamentals are in place, more can and should be added to augment our soldiers capabilities and their survivability.

@Kunal Biswas, any updates on the status of BPJ procurement?

I don't want to go political bias but how the hell UPA neglected these important issues for a decade . I am ashamed that our soldiers were kept away from these most important gear. Is bjp doing any better in these issues or just old efforts maturing now.

Jai Hind, we are really in debts of (you) soldiers sacrifice not minding your safety. I hope all civilian's realise this fact and remember them always .
