Yes, they can be used on Insas as well ..

Day and Night means that the red dot will be visiable during day so does night in different illumination levels ..

Same goes for other reflex sight these days...

sir, can these sights be used in insas ? and what did it mean by day night capable.........did it mean includes night vision ?

I voted for the red dot sight. More than that I feel we should use the ACOG.

AFAIK, ACOGs are expensive and is not needed by he infantrymen who typically engage <200m ranges. ACOGs are more suitable to be mounted on DMR guns.

I voted for the red dot sight. More than that I feel we should use the ACOG.

Something to look out for, for standard issue infantry rifles.

~$600 (Rs. 35,000) retail price for single piece for T1

~$500 (Rs. 30,000) retail price for single piece for H1

Why is there no mention of Holographic sights in the list??If I remember correct,IRDE had already developed quite a good quality holographic sight for the INSAS rifles.

From the vids comments section:

GraphicDistortion (24 Jul 2014) why do i feel like i just watched a 15 minute MSE commercial?

MaximGhost (6 Nov 2014) Yup, basically an infomercial ... waiting for Ron Popeil to make his appearance. The MSE sight is a product of CAA, an Israeli company. You notice how their "resident expert" served as an IDF Duvdevan special forces operator?

General Issue of any Infantry unit in any world is Iron Sight..

In Civilian Market, Iron sights are backup sights..

I've been away due to the holiday season in the USA. Very busy for the last few weeks. While I still have some time, I post as much as I can.

Anyway the USA is moving away from Iron Sights. If you look closely at recent US Spec Ops pictures, some of them lack iron sights or BUIS (back up iron sights) on their AR15/M4/M16/etc. That because optics advancement make it unnecessary, ie the optics are almost indestructible.

I would not be surprise the next generation of US m4/M16 will not have irons sights just to save weight. There might be an option available to put BIUS in the field without tools.
