Their are plenty of examples are rusting away, Why would this one selected to be modified at such cost for just display ?, During the days this tank was put at display, PT-76 were active ..

Did India actually do this modification or was a gun taken from an old PT-76 and put on this thing for the display (original gun damaged or something?)

Though this one can carry four troopers at back and one or two at front, Don`t like the big glass at front even its bullet proof ..
The big glass frame is for wide visibility to keep an eye on the entire sprawling premises of the parliament which is like an open campus. This allows you to sit in one place and keep an eye on the entire campus without moving the vehicle. In case of congested roads which would render wide angle visibility defunct, they could use smaller windows.

Indian T-90s are now irrrelevant; the Uranium depleted Niazi rounds are capable of instantly destroying a fully armored T-90 with a single hit; unless India procures a trophy like system.
Thanks for letting us know, so I guess India should scrap their entire armored corps based on the unsolicited advice obtained from non-so-well wishers across the border posting on the internet.

Btw, how was the trophy you got in Lahore yesterday? Maza aya? Any idea who awarded you that trophy?

Yeah you're right. I am trying to find a photo of it in service though. Same with the AMX-13 gun mod to the Sherman. It is amazing how these were not documented. It would be interesting to see how many Shermans got the 76mm PT-76 gun. Also interesting how the plaque is so wrong.

Close up on turret of PT-76, 0.30 cal Browning MG..

Here's a Centurion in action in 1965. Note the 0.30 cal Browning MG on the roof. Why can't we have more photos like this?

Great stuff Kunal. Love them. Keep whatever you've got coming. Did the Vijayantas engage in any active combat in 1971? You don't hear much.

Completely Intact Type 59 from Longewala. When it was captured, its Radio set was on and Engine Running like in Asal Uttar.

Entire 22nd cavalry Regt decimated in Longewala after failed to capture it,the post is held by 120 men.
