Re: India is the world's largest arms importer. It aims to be a big we

Since we learned lot, then we are not learn from copying and stealing.

India learn very little and have to import bullets and shells. So, you mean India is copying and stealing?

PRC havent learned much and you are copying and stealing
A Chinese man has been indicted for allegedly directing two China-based hackers to infiltrate Boeing and other defense contractors to steal gigabytes of documents describing U.S. military aircraft.
Su Bin, a Chinese national in his late 40s, was indicted in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on charges of unauthorized computer access, conspiracy, conspiracy to commit theft of trade secrets and aiding and abetting. He was arrested in Canada in June.

Su allegedly worked with two unnamed and unindicted co-conspirators between 2009 and 2013 to obtain documents related to planes such as the C-17, a cargo aircraft, and the F-22 and F-35 fighter jets, according to the indictment.

India learns through JV and TOT. That means NOT copying and Stealing, but associating together with countries and making things better.
JV and TOT has no relation with Copying and Stealing

Losers makes Copies

Boing 474: The Chinese Are Now Knocking Off Our Airplanes
Chinese manufacturers are experts at knocking off just about anything, from "Rat Ban" sunglasses and "Wee" gaming consoles to, yes, "HiPhones." But now it looks like they're very close to copying another American export: They're bootlegging our Boeing 747s.

Oh? ? u aspire to be a weapons dealer now. How will your assumed "partners" continue to sell u high-end equipment and tech. to nurture a competitor, who'll vie for the same defence market share, rather than stay on the receiving end as before?

The assumed "partners" will continue to sell us highend equipments and tech as they are less worried as India is not interested in creating copies. Btw, we have moved from "buying" to "co-development and co-production", I believe, copycats won't understand these.

"The dealer" is a bad term. India wants to be a weapons supplier.

For joint ventures, the exported item will be based on concurrence of both parties.
For items developed through local R&D, India is free to sell as per GOI's wish.

I agree that the Chinese have learnt. @sorcerer does not know the reality.
India is behind due to lack of learning. However the days of shortage of bullets and shells are past.

You seem to be too eager for war? Try out this is not 1962 and Indian leadership doesn't have Nehru but it has Modi. You must be feeling how our soldiers are aggressively blocking your way to incursions inside LAC.

Chinese has huge advantage ... a very high level of IQ that is required for a stealing and copying from others...
More IQ required in R&D and developing a weapon rather than copying. Its basic difference between an engineer and an mechanic who can copy but can't make it better than original. Losers do the simplest job based on their IQ and you are doing exactly what you can afford at your so called IQ level.
