Those who fail to change and adapt, cease to exist.Keep manufacturing big cars, when the world may need small cars due to already congested roads.If you go through the article posted, India has overtaken china because of the recession. Nobody is willing to buy the big cars as they don't have the money.

Keep manufacturing these big cars and keep them in the factories, while you see rest of the Chinese lap up small cars.

European countries might be small but population density is much more less. They prefer small cars because they are cheap and give very high mileage and has small carbon footprint. India has very high population density compared to western countries, so it makes sense for Indian people to opt for small cars as they fit and maneuver better on Indian roads and they are also economical and less polluting compared to big cars.

Lets get it straight...We export more cars than you. We are world leaders in small car manufacturing and it has been our strong point. Audi, Benz, BMW and Chevrolet manufacture in India. These cars are built for Indian roads and Indian mindset, which is "Bang for the Buck". So these cars are for the competitive market and not the 'Niche' market like BMW etc,.

Pollution standards ?? when did you guys wake up to maintaining pollution standards. The last thing I heard was of near zero visibility in Beijing thanks to pollution and Olympics being affected.
