Export of Sonars by Drdo.

New Delhi -> "The Defense Research And Development Organisation (DRDO) has mandated towards research and development of varioussystems and technologies for use of our Armed Forces and IS NOT INVOLVED IN THEIR EXPORT.
However Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has signed a contract for the supply of three(3) - Hull Mounted Sonars -> Export (HMS-X) with the Government of Myanmar on 16th JANUARY 2013. The contract value of these Sonars is US $ 29.24 MILLION. This information was given by Defense Minister Shri. AK Antony in a written reply to Shri Mohd Ali Khan and Shrimati T. RatnaBai in Rajya Sabha today "

That is a Offshore patrol vessel, Does not seem to be very sophisticated ..

Another ship to keep watch on North Koreans and Bangladesh Navy vessels ..

They are taking best of Russia, China and India and putting into their ships
