India 'playing dangerous game', says Pakistan officials
Pakistan accuses Delhi of funding wave of attacks in its cities as bilateral talks near

Islamabad: A few weeks before high-level talks between the two countries start in New Delhi, Pakistani intelligence and military officials have accused neighbouring India of "playing a dangerous game" by supporting, they claim, extremist groups believed to be behind recent bombings and target killing in major cities.
In interviews with Gulf News, senior officials from the Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) and the army said they "have evidence" of Indian involvement in the terrorist attacks in Pakistan's largest city of Karachi and even Lahore.
On Tuesday, a suicide attack on a police vehicle on Karachi's main highway left three dead, including two policemen. No one claimed responsibility but officials say they were certain that "foreign hands" were behind the attack.

    Charges
A senior ISI official alleged that India attempts to "destabilise Pakistan" by supporting, by "funds and arms", militant groups in Karachi, the economic hub of the country.
Karachi has witnessed dozens of attacks and target killings over the past few years. Pakistani officials say the attacks, especially those on shrines, aimed at "fomenting sedition among religious communities" to destabilise the country.
"India is playing a dangerous game" in Karachi, a top ISI official told Gulf News on the condition of anonymity. He said his agency has "evidence" that Indian intelligence was arming and funding "extremist elements" to weaken their neighbour.
"People are getting money from India to create problems for Pakistan in Karachi" and other areas, he stressed. "India should understand that it will be affected most if Pakistan is destabilised," the official said.

    Overstretched
Major General Athar Abbas, official spokesman of the Pakistani Army, said India realises that the Pakistani army is "over-stretched" because of the extensive anti-terror operations in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas. "Therefore, they support elements that engage in terrorist campaign on our urban cities," he said.
Abbas said India is being suspected of arming and funding extremist elements and even distributing anti-Pakistan hate literature in the Pakistani province of Balochistan, which borders Afghanistan.
Disputed Kashmir will be high on the agenda when the foreign ministers of the two countries meet in Delhi in the next two months, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Qureshi told Gulf News.
He said India and Pakistan should get over the reciprocal accusations and find ways to rebuild the trust.

Damn it. Whenever such news come from pakistan I only wish they were half as true. Bloody RAW gets far more credit than its due to it. Seriously if RAW does to pak half of what ISI does to india, we could achieve some great results.
The only dangerous game being played on the sub continent is by pakistan and it does not spare even the US in its games.

While India provides proof of Pakistan's involvement in terrorist activities in India, Pakistan has so far done nothing but b**ch about India. Seriously, how mis-guided can they be? [email protected]

so let me get the logic here.

when India has proof it shows it to the world, to get the world on its side and against Pakistan.

when Pakistan has proof, it keeps it close to its heart and wants the world to continually bash Pakistan as a terrorist supporting state?

Let's not get carried away here. The RAW is most certainly active in the Balochistan province of Pakistan, Karachi, the North-west and a litany of other provinces.

The infrastructure exists, if it is not always put to use.

If the RAW were not, it would not be a security organization.

But don't come to your conclusions based on the "hyped-up" Pakistani news in the media. Everything including U.S. travel alerts is an attempt to 'destabilize Pakistan'. RAW officials certainly do not carry "documents". And nor do their functionaries. What for? So they can get identified and branded, if they were caught.

Besides, which government is not involved in it anyway? Pakistan is most certainly involved. From Kashmir to Nepal and Kerala.

In the absence of elementary evidence, I can only present you with rational ratiocination. Anybody who's studied security, will know that organization, funding and assessment, even more so than weapons, always come from somewhere.

However, the extent and scale of broadcast is almost certainly lower than the scale of activity which actually exists. Intelligence agencies' primary function is to collect & analyse. Covert action is few and far between. And it is expensive. No country has the budget to keep on carrying out covert activity.

So this crude, blasphemous attempt to blame everything on India is going down the drain. Much of it is indigenous. Something Pakistanies must realize. If they want to save their country.

If we really could do this then whole root of problem could be solved. Pak, three fingers are pointed to you when you point one finger to us.

The thing is, it does not have any proof in first place. That country points fingers at us for aggression at the drop of a hat; you think that if it had genuine proof against us, that it would just leave an opportunity to tear our wonderful image in international eyes?.

Most of their so called proofs are based on stupid concepts like:

    1) the agent we caught had an uncircumcised d**k ( yea.. they want to show the International Court of Justice in Hague a bottom-less dead body :D)

    2) the bag of fertilizers used by terrorists was written "MADE IN INDIA" (like we don't have agricultural trade with them!)

    3) the bomb shells had "indian design". (goodness knows what that is).

    4) Indian made assault rifles (if we had a single decent home-made assault rifle other than INSAS, we would not be cursing DRDO today)

Now tell me; would you show stuff like this in UNSC or ICJ to prove another country a terrorist state?

Sir take the proof to UN & International court of law , then prove India is guilty instead of barking in front of mic

Our great PM I.K.Gujaral freezed all assets of Raw in Pak in 90's so how would Raw operate with such ease , If at all they are doing so what is your ISI doing

Fact is ISI destabilizing Pakistan & they want to blame others so who is in next door RAW put the blame on them simple

lol... this "proof" and "news" of Indian involvement is only for Pakistani domestic consumption, to keep the Indian boogeyman alive. It's not meant for Indians or the world to react to. It's BS. ;)
