Before spreading nonsense and trolling flaming, know what you talk about..

SS-N-27 is not even in class of PJ-10, Both are vastly different, SS-N-27 is of Klub class..

------------------------------

Your 15 years of Observation is actually few min here and there over net & It cost same for import duties either is from America..

OK, that was a typo, but you know I was talking about SS-N-26 all along, are you now satisfied? I've been following (daydreaming) forums like this and BR ever from their inception and have in the process watched countless deadlines, brave predictions go down the drain.
India with its current capabilities is no where near to designing/producing a missile like the SS-N-26/Yakhont/Brahmos ( a missile that is 2 magnitudes simpler like NAG has been torturing the DRDO for good 20+ years now) by herself, so there is very little India could contribute on a project of this kind caliber. For me there is zil chance this Brahmos can be any better tahn the original.

A side story for you: When asked by indian jounalist why India's work share on PAK-FA is not proportional to her financial contribution, the Russian official burst into laughter and asked the jounalist in return what can India possibly contribute?

No, you still dont know the half of it, Yakhont SS-N-26 is inferior to PJ-10, PJ-10 development was improvements over Yakhont..

PJ-10 is available in many variants in land attack and anti-ship and will be in Air soon where as SS-N-26 only as Anti-ship role..

Yakhont speed limits at mach 2.5 where as PJ-10 have 2.8 to 3.0..

PJ-10 have advance active homing radar seeker compare to Yakhont, PJ-10 homing radar activates at 70km range where as SS-N-26 have 50km range..

Country flag
^^ How many can sense the desperation on display here through knowing that sooner or later PLAN surface fleet will be sitting bunnies for Bramhos?
They are even more desperate because their most deadly Chinese ASCM
is easily intercepted by Barak-8's not giving a sources for concerned PLA
do some research and find it.

PJ-10 Brahmos and SS-N-26 Yakhont are both export model derived fron Russian Oniks , Russian armed forces will likely use Oniks as the MTCR limit will be a big obstacle for them.

Brahmos though is truly superior to Yakhont specially since it has land attack capability and capability to hit small targets among cluster of many and steep dive mode to attack on mountain targets ......the key difference is the brain between the two both India and Russia have jointly contributed to brahmos and it would be wrong to say only one party has upper hand over other in this project.
