India need home made Navy..

but how.a navy platform development is a multi-discipline development and India is surely good in few but not all. to make a home made navy it needs to atleast deliver if not the best but something workable. engines, the heart of ship is foreign. many of the other critical equipment are foreign.
India is making progress and surely home-made navy is a necessity but still it will take atleast one decade of consistent effort from scientists, bureaucrats and politicians to make it happen.

Excellent. So there is a 65k ton AC coming in for sure. But without approval it will be delayed quite a lot. We will need 6-8 years to induct it.
