Well China can always arm Pakistan with its newest technology so India needs to bit it. Subs can be used for espionage and military overpowering can be followed by aggressive foreign politics. This can be said both on the Indian-Chinese relation and any other one.

plan has about 76 major surface combatants and indian navy has about 65.but china has almost 4 times more submarine.plan also has large no. of small patrol crafts,gun boats,missile boats,torpedo boats,submarine chasers etc.do you think that india should have large no. of small missile boats,torpedo boats etc which can cripple chinese and pakistani sea lines of supply if need arise so that the navy is fully combat ready if plan wan't to venture into indian ocean.
