    Of late there has been many sanctimonious posts including that of Indians, that the West symbolises freedom, democracy, human rights and so on all sugar and spice and all that is nice.

    While I do appreciate many things of the West, but I am not blind to the failings also.

    This is an article by an Western journalist that indicates that all that is nice is not sugar and spice.

    US attacked Iraq on flimsy grounds, but it had to given the geostrategic compulsions after the Cold War, as enunciated by the Wolfowitz Doctrine.
