The persons who murdered Eve Carson also murdered a graduate student from India. I posted a link to that case a couple of months ago.
The folks who put up this Advertisement probably dont even have a clue about Eve Carson. Maybe they flicked her image from the net or somewhere and are misusing it.
Yes, and why this?
Makes me wonder what their market research has revealed to Jubeerich.
Definitely that Indians think all American youngsters are blond (and attractive)! Probably all their research was done with an in-house audience!
The same thing happens in China
Though insensitive this will happen again. A similar case happened with Terry's x-ray'd picture being put on ITC's cigarette packets. The people assigned for such works either have no knowledge of copyright infringement, the internet or educated to the point of being declared as illiterates. The company in the billboard ad, probably is not big enough to have a specialized team to work on promoting their company, but ITC is worth billions. Ignorance or plain pathetic attitude. They need to be sued.
Who is Terry?
Many of these firms are fraudulent who rob lakhs of rupees from people in a promise to give them job/education/visa in western countries. Few years ago a popular punjabi singer was caught running such racket.
Coming to the image, most probably this Jubeerich got its website & print material designed by some non-professional agency, whose designers did nothing more than copy+paste images of good looking western girls from internet because buying authentic stock images was out of their budget.
Maybe this was unintentional but still insensitive.
The picture used by ITC:
The people who put up the ad must have thought it was great to put up a fresh looking young American face to attract students to solicit the services of the advertiser to go to the US for higher studies.
I am sure they would have no clue that putting up this girl's face would deter those who are educated and in the know.
There are many idiots in India.
John Terry is an English footballer.
I dont think those buggers know what they have done. Usually they called up the Advertising agency and asks for what they want the it to be. The Ad agency calls up their outsourced or otherwise Coral Draw expert, who basically takes the best or first google image he finds. Its quite innocent and idiotic at the same time.

Well, how about taking the exams and then going to study in the West instead of going through these quacks?
There was an instance where a fake university was soliciting students from India, and they were busted. I will see if I can find that thread.
Edit: I found it.
Education has become a business these days.
This is very sick
south indians are also big on doing scams.
