One wonders if this is a deliberate spanner in the works to ensure that the Bill is filled with infirmities that would be challenged and never implemented owing to long and legal wrangling.

It is impossible to believe that the Govt and the Cabinet having leading legal luminaries failed to notice the legal hurdles or that they were incompetent.

But is there any reason why there should be reservations?

It is not so with the other bodies like the CVC, CBI etc.

How far are the experts correct that the Bill will stumble in court?
