I never said free Kasab for Sarabjit AMRITSAR: Dalbir Kaur, sister of Sarabjit Singh languishing in a Pakistan jail, on Thursday denied reports in the Pakistan media that she has proposed 26/11 accused Ajmal Kasab be freed while seeking her brother's release. Sarabjit, a death row convict, was arrested in 1990 for involvement in the bomb blasts in Lahore and Multan. Dalbir went to Pakistan on June 6 to meet her brother lodged in Kotlakhpat jail. She blamed the Pakistani media for exploiting her feelings and trying to create confusion between India and Pakistan. "My statement has been distorted by the Pakistani media," she said. "I'll make it clear to Sarabjit that I am here to plead for his release on the basis that he is innocent, and not to seek the release for Kasab," she said.
