It has to do with the globe. The reference is to an earlier discussion about targets of a missile with a 10000 km range. Further, if you set up the linked application om your site, you can save a graphic representation of visitors' positions on the globe.

Ewald, I am a mathematician by profession. Have no clue what the link is supposed to be as I am hardly tech savvy. When I clicked it I saw a globe that said Jersey City - which pointed to my location I suppose. Am I supposed to do something or infer something else?

Either way, the patronage is quietly appreciated.

And yeah, the discussion was about a 10K+ missile.

    No.:)

Really, I thought the application might be used here on DFI. And the globe aspect reminded me of the earlier discussion.

I like that proposal. That globe thing could actually give a very good impression of the members' locations and who all are viewing DFI. Something one might want to put here: http://defenceforumindia.com/announcements-feedback/5339-suggestions-feedback-50.html

Edit: I have placed a request at the above link.

The Revolver Map could show the locations of logins to DFI, but it might get cumbersome with high numbers. I really don't know how it works; I suppose it could refresh itself before the animation got too cluttered.
